BP Spill May Be Least of Gulf Woes as Farm Chemicals Invade, Wetlands Sink I was going to bring it up when stockman and koan were going crazy but I figured why fuel their fire. We've known for decades that the Mississippi is like a sewer line into the Gulf........dumping farm chemicals and other wastes. In MN in the 1980s, they undertook this big effort to clean up the upper Mississippi and many lakes that were degraded by farm and lawn chemicals. They were successful but everyone knew that down river, the Mississippi was still a mess. But what infuriates me most is how easily stockman and koan turned on Obama. I just don't get it.
