I agree. This decision to cut costs probably indicates that management doesn't see any tangible sources for big revenue increases in the near future. The general hope is still there, as it has been for a long time, but they cannot run the business on vague hopes. Without something more tangible (e.g., a big customer letting them know of their plans for a large network upgrade) they need to cut. [Even more so since one large ANVW investor has been actively pushing management to make these cuts.]

Too bad they didn't have this change-of-heart a year ago. I'll be interested in hearing their explanations/reasoning on the upcoming conference call.
