I am going to point another finger......this time its at the media. They screwed us over during the Bush era by pushing the WMDs mantra. Just a month ago, they said Europe was heading for a cliff. It turns out only S. Europe, specifically Greece and maybe Spain, is having trouble. They push the doomsayer Roubini every chance they get. The Gulf spill was to be Armaggedon and the Gulf was likely to turn into a water wasteland for decades. Now they are acting all surprised that it isn't. Frankly I am sick to the death of it. They make me furious. Our media is as irresponsible as the British tabloids. And all this happening in a global economy. Who is next. I anticipate that ny the time November rolls around the economic situation in the US will be looking up. I agree with you that the employers should and will require to hire very soon and will be forced to abandon offering low wages to prospective hirees.
