LOL

"Obama blew it, but not so much the dems. Nancy Pelosi (the most underated politician in history)..."

Stiglitz may be famous and have some good ideas, but not common sense. When he first went to Stanford University, he bought a home on campus, yet complained to the papers that real estate there was overvalued. He knew, he said, because he'd just come from back east where homes were much cheaper. I heard that comment before, even from Silicon Valley real estate brokers who had moved from the East. Foolishness!

The growth of Silicon Valley created an economic environment supporting those prices, and they moved a heck of lot higher before Stiglitz moved on again, and they remain comparatively high (but not overpriced comparatively).

I'm sure that when Stiglitz sold his home at Stanford, he did not tell prospective buyers that he wasn't asking the price he could, because "it wasn't worth it."

No matter. Obama's not listening. He has the likes of Stigliz around for appearances only. See my comments about Fabian Socialists.
