Want some specifics? One area that can be greatly reduced is occupational licensing. It mainly serves as a way to reduce competition.

Well that's a state deal (tax revenue generator) and usually handled by some professional organization. For instance the state bars licensing lawyers. In that case most states have reciprocity... but retirement states like FL and AZ make new lawyers retake the bar exam, and yes I'm sure they are protecting their home grown lawyers from retirees hanging up a shingle.

You don't think Doctors, Lawyers, Electricians should be licensed?
