A couple of huge differences between Japan and us. One is that while they have a declining population our population is increasing. This will put pressure on demand and the fed will encourage that pressure as they want about 4% inflation.

The other, is the fact (and this is wild-lol) that organized crime had borrowed huge amount so money to play the real estate bubble.

When prices of real estate caved in the banks were afraid to ask for their money. Those guys are tough-lol.
