Keith - No hard evidence was presented in the article. Wick simply stated he thinks they are playing games with the accounting on the low priced PC's. Even IF that was the case (and I DON'T think it is), CPQ makes it's real money on the server side of things. All the talk lately seems to center around the low cost PC, but the money always has been in the big iron, just like it still is for IBM. Yet, Wick (and the other two fund managers) made no mention AT ALL of the server side of the business. As for the Cisco guy, you are talking about Michael Murphy, he has a tech conference going on (or just finished) in San Diego that I read about recently. Lots of his recommendations seem to NOT pan out, in addition to Cisco he was jumping up and down about Cirrus Logic and other 'dogs' that have gone nowhere.
