I would think that the $780 million is for their interest in its share of the 9mm oz of gold. If you figure 88% of 9mm X ~ $100/oz in the ground for the Au then $780mm is a ballpark number. I guess they figure that Au has topped out and copper isn't worth anything.
Given the numbers, $15 and change has me thinking that this thing is something of a bird's nest on the ground or there is something wrong that no one has figured out.
Is management buying at these levels? Seems like a no brainer if there are no surprises waiting in the wings.
