The pro-Latino advocacy group La Raza wants to "take back" Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California into the folds of Mexico, to restore the border as it was before the Treaty of Guadalupe. If Muslims can build a mosque that says, "nana-nana-nana" at Ground Zero, I wonder what would happen if La Raza were to try to build a recruitment center at the Alamo in San Antonio? Maybe a monument to Hirohito at the site of the battleship Arizona in Pearl Harbor? Why, just think how "acceptance and understanding" would grow with a statue of the Enola Gay in the center of Hiroshima. A monument to Hitler in Leningrad? Um, make that Stalingrad. Best of all though, was the suggestion to build a Christian Church in Mecca.
