We all have to have our first day at posting on SI.. it's not a birthright you know. :)

Some of us had CSMA shares here before David came along. Now that he IS here and posting/sharing info, we shouldn't treat him as an outsider.

The only thing he as convinced me to do is to call for my certs.
I don't think anyone here takes what everyone says to be the gospel.
In fact I think we all strain very hard to read in between the lines.

Surely noone here would blame anyone else for investing mistakes.
I outgrew passing the blame around age 16 myself. But heck, it's always good to have a scapegoat handy for some folks I suppose :)

BTW James.. hi back atcha :)

Hey dude James Cotton; your "discovery" that I have only been a member since 11-7-97 is obvious to everyone else but you. I posted a headline to that fact in reply #148 "I'm now a member ...". Further, your suggestion to ask for my phone number is ridiculous. I am not going to give out my phone number to discuss stocks. I have a life and I am not a financial advisor.

Russell, your suggestion that investors query other investors "to the Nth degree until you feel comfortable" is not going to be well received by the investors that are being queried. You are way off base on who or what you should perform DD on. Focus on the company, on your broker, etc. but not on other investors. I don't have time to respond to a bunch of people querying me to the Nth degree. I do have a life. The only "responsibility to the fellow surfers" that I feel I have is to pass along information I feel is accurate as I get it. I do not feel responsible to provide a resume so they can check out my life. Sorry.

Hey you guys, can I have your phone number to call you at MY convenience to discuss stocks when ->I<- feel like it? Come on, you're supposed to be responsive to MY desires? Right?

I have a cold so I'm bedridden this weekend, otherwise I would hardly have time to respond to any of this. If you other investors think I am being too harsh, well, I'm not feeling too well. I'd like to read posts of other investors, let me know if you think I'm off base.

David

P.S. I believe the total fees given to me to date for my advice is around ... zero. I think my posts are worth at least that.
