I can't see WWIII -- but, I'm probably pretty bearish compared to some -- even if we had WWIII I don't think it cures the overhang of government debt. I'd take what Gates did with the military cuts here as an early indicator ... big cuts in government spending coming AFTER the elections. There'll be lots of complaining -- I think I may need a plan B -- 50% of my salary comes from the gubmnt.
