T.Rex, "I think Ron Paul qualifies as good people." I would like to think so, though most people would disagree. Moreover, he is a career politician, never mind his projected ideologies. Next election cycle I'm going to start a "Campaign to Re-elect No One." By that, my group would push for voters to support only those candidates who have never previously held an elected public office. Maybe if we get the career people out, and keep them out, we can get some honest, grass roots representation in Congress, and among people who owe few or no debts to be repaid as favors at public expense.
