Republicans are blocking everything they can block. They just aren't winning every time. Lots of things are getting thru. Republicans are blocking things where there is no political price to block because the Democrats will not take the matter to the people. The way Republican behavior is described, one would think they were about to get punished by the voters. Instead, they are about to be rewarded in November. The Democrats need to make campaign issues out of the stuff that is being blocked. Of course, they won't do that because they know that approach won't work because there is nothing being blocked that will win elections for them. I would love to see the democrats run on card check and cap & trade and a single payer health care system. All stuff they do not want to even speak about.
