As a gene propagation creature, the Nigerian is way smart, too astute, very agile, and certainly a winner in darwin's schema.

Arun, yes it does: < does genetics always correlate with color? > It takes good melanin producing DNA to get melanin rich skin. While stimulation by sunshine will make melanocytes swing into action, there is only so much they can do. en.wikipedia.org Not only does it correlate, it's causal too.

That article you quoted showed the lack of thinking of the writer and those who seemed to think it some sort of victory that James Watson's genetic background includes a relatively high proportion of Negro DNA.

In fact, they were being racist - suggesting that him having Negro DNA showed he's unintelligent if his racial ideas are correct. They thought they had a clever irony going. In fact, they just confirmed their own lack of intelligence.

Scientists are not afraid of data. Data shows that intelligence is largely genetic [though its potential can be ruined by poor diet, toxins, disease, injury and psycholgical deprivation]. So of course, as with all things natural, there are distributions across the populations with more or less, here and there.

People who lack intelligence can do a lot better in their lives by asking the more talented to lead them and by working for the more talented. That's why the British Empire was so successful - leadership by the talented, energetic and productive of those who wanted a piece of the action too.

I learned as a child to give my money to people with more ability than me, and to work for them and thereby get a piece of the action too. ElM figured it out too and has pole climbed for decades, which he likes doing since he's closely related to primates which live in trees and like climbing them - chimps.

If chimps could learn to install poles, they'd apply for jobs working for Huawei and those who know how to make fibre too.

We are not all equally intelligent and it's a good idea for those lacking it to join up with those who have got it. Trying to take the smart ones prisoner and force them to do good things doesn't work. They'll go Troppo and join the chimps and refuse to perform.

In the bludging societies, voters have been voting to force the intelligent and productive to hand over their money without working to earn it. The intelligent flee to places where their talents and efforts are rewarded. Or they just goof off or drink beer [vodka in Russia].

If intelligence wasn't related to DNA, there would be chimps inventing OFDM. They never do. They eat bananas, mate and fight. You can lead a chimp to water but you can't make it think.
