I think that would happen pretty much anywhere out in the country in the US as well. The further out the more likely.

Yeah, in this area there are many who own 4WD vehicles just lusting for an opportunity to pull someone out of the mud.

It is kind of a display of one's manhood in the South. "I've got a truck that can get ANYTHING out of the mud".
