And, without the accountability and transparency that a well-functioning first-world democracy demands, they are, as Arianna details, growing the ranks of "Third World Americans." Middle-class Americans are deprived of the livelihoods and benefits that should rightfully be theirs as citizens of a democratic, free-market nation, and they have been summarily shut out of the process on policy decisions that would affect not just us, but also our children and grandchildren. I strongly agree. It is good to know that others are seeing the same and thinking along the same lines. The elitists she described are dumbing-down America and Europe to advance their singular agenda of establishing more power and control for themselves. It's far easier for them to accomplish their goals if most of the citizens have very low intelligence.
