The Western (not just European) consensus about Russia is that most of that country is corrupt --except their brave firefighting departments! Russian business is corrupt and plagued with bribery, kickbacks, etc. Russian politics is corrupt and marred with political assassinations... There's widespread corruption in Russia --except when it comes to forest fires. Russia has at least one bright spot: it's free from arsonists. Gus
