The incredible size of the project makes sense now. I keep forgetting that Jiang was also the mayor of Shanghai. Also, Mr. Zhou and one or two other officials have their roots in Shanghai.

Thank you Julius. It's information which gives a stock some character and identity beyond that of a ticker symbol.

I must admit, however, that I am somewhat uneasy at the moment. I do not like hearing a certain rumor emanating from Beijing. There is talk that some are in favor of replacing Donald Tsang as Financial Secretary. But, in consideration of the current situation, they will wait a year prior to pressing the issue.

I will study the issue well. The Financial Secretary is the third most senior position in the SAR government. Should any intrigue be involved in the removal of the be-tied Mr. Tsang, they can kiss my investments good-bye. Not that my investments matter, but I feel reasonably certain that others will react similarly.
