Isn't that obvious? How can you give to a visitor for free something for which you'll be charging the customer several thousands? That wouldn't be right now, would it.... :)

I would speculate that it has a lot to do with space management. Comfortable usually means bigger.

(As for chairs, though, I find those light, cheap, molded plastic ones they sell for outdoor use are remarkably comfortable. And they're stackable when stored.)
