This message is for anyone who can answer. Thanks for the help.
My ISP is PacBell(PBI)
Over the last few days the only server I can access is the EXPRESS .
I cant get a response from the X,Y,Z...or any of the backup servers.
Does anyone have a suggestion ?
Is it probable that the PBI Isp sucks ?
I have another Isp ... SPRYNET on my other computer that acess's all
DATEK servers with no problem. However that computer is used to run a heavy software program and my realtime quotes, level II , intraday
charts etc.
I am a daytrader not a computer whiz...so help me if you can.
I have a big trade in play right now and its a short.
Any help today would be way cool.
Thanks...Jon Tara where are you.

Anyone know how to specify the ticker for a preferred stock trading on the NYSE through Datek?

For example,

Excel Realty Trust Inc Preferred A trades on the NYSE and can be specified by Yahoo! using symbol "XEL_pa". I have seen ticker's like "XEL1A" used in other systems. No permutation that I try seems to work on Datek.

XEL-A works.
