ah, i see, per your logic, if legal in seller nation, then ok to be pushed to prospective buyer states

if that be the case, opium is still defacto legal in certain jurisdictions colombia and afghanistan, as well as mexico, effectively, and so must be ok to be imported into usa, according to you. that is ok. i can accept that logic.

the reason opium was legal in britain had something to do with its culture, akin to colombia, mexico and afghanistan.

the reason china did not buy british goods in enough quantities to balance the trade equation was the same as now, this day, the british had not a whole lot to offer. look up your history instead of just making them up per your sorry read of the situation that the simplest logic can pierce, else opium would not be necessary as a equation plug contravening chinese law for import. the british had a choice to balance the trade equation as then existed, move silver or move drugs, and per culture, they chose drugs.

hamoon, you are getting twisted into a knot, contorting the way you do, and shorts must be getting tight.
