His disapproval rate at Gallup has now reached 50%, an all-time high -- and his approval rate has dropped to 42%, an all-time low. They are really in big trouble. But I still wouldn't count them out. Americans WANT to believe in him. The silver lining in this cloud is that it could be a very long time before another Democrat is elected president. The 12 years we got after Carter were pretty good, but could never make up for the damage he did in four short years. Obama has already done far more damage in 2 yrs than Carter did in 4.
