Fortunately, the majority of Americans disagree with you.

KT,

>>>>The Ground Zero Mosque is not at ground zero. It is two blocks away. Two blocks may not seem like much is small towns, but, in New York, it can be an entirely different neighborhood. Remember, they are vertical, not horizontal.

But, then, it's not just a mosque, either. It is more of a community and fitness center with a mosque.

In other words, the entire issue is stupid and anti-American and a creation of hate radio.<<<<<<

Your stupidity knows no bounds.

To begin with, have you ever been in the World Trade Center area either before or after 9/11?

That's where I worked for close to 20 years.

Multiple blocks were devastated because multiple buildings collapsed and many others were damaged by the ruble. The whole area was a basket case.

But more importantly, did you ever ask yourself why some members of society are constantly asked to be sensitive to the feelings and lifestyles of others, but some people are free to do anything they want no matter who they insult or hurt?

I don't think many people in NYC that would be upset about a Muslim community center and Mosque being opened in Manhattan. What they are sensitive to and upset about is that the devastated area facing the former WTC is where they chose.

You would think the Muslim community would be sensitive to the fact that the NYers don't like the idea of a Mosque being built there any more than the Jews like the idea of a Mosque being built on the Temple Mount. You see that's what conquering Muslims traditionally do. They build Mosques on conquered land.

So if they need a community center and Mosque, they should simply move it someplace where no one would be offended by the implication of its presence.
