Over the past few months institutional investors have increased their percentage in AMD by 10.2%. I would think they would get even more aggressive at $5 a share given all the new concessions made by intel. If amd can get chips made for $40 and sell them for $80 by TSMC and other semi's thats pretty decent return on NO investment. Plus all the new business from apple should be a decent bump in graphics. But...as everyone knows AMD management just loves to give away stuff for increased market share. Why not bulldozer on 40nm at tsmc with 6 or less cores as well as Llano APU. The valuation just seems crazy at $5 unless the economy is so far in the dumper that it will take 2 more years before we see daylight.
