Yeah, it seems like in the last 6 months the telecom shares have done well, mainly driven by AT&T having two very good EPS quarters in a row. How long the good mood will last is anyone's guess. I own T and CTL.

Morningstar charts supposedly show total return:

Can't link right to the chart. Start by putting a symbol in the quote box, then click charts. Then you can pick time frame and click compare to add symbols.

You can see numerical returns at the bottom of the page.
