My understanding is that sub Saharan Negro blokes have got 99%* of the human male DNA and the male descendants of the bloke who fathered all non-Africans about 25,000 years ago [which is not very long ago as far as these things are concerned] have got 1% of the human DNA. The female non-African descendants of the woman who mothered all non-Africans about 90,000 years ago have got [near enough for government work] about 1% of the female DNA possibilities. Non-Africans are like cloned wheat which produces great crops and in highly specialized fashion does a fantastic job. But if push comes to genetic shove and environmental challenges heat up, the necessary DNA is likely to be found in Africa. For example, H5N1 had a 70% mortality rate. I doubt it would amount to anywhere near that in Africans. Note that Africans have got AIDS immunity genes [a few of them somewhere - it just bounces off them]. Particular special features such as blue eyes, blond hair, Ashkenazi intellect are found predominantly in the appropriate non-African areas, but those genes are no doubt lurking around in Africa too. If a dog breeder was to take up human breeding, and they could choose 100,000 breeding stock to start their selective breeding programme, their best bet to maximize the range of DNA they would have available, would likely be to choose those 100,000 from all over Africa [and I would suggest popping over to northwest India to nab 1,000 or so from there which seems to be where some of that hot-stuff Ashkenazi brain-power DNA originated, mixed in with bedouin/Moroccan]. Mqurice * 99% is a total guess for the purposes of discussion. Google probably knows exactly what the correct number is.
