We are there. And even if we leave, they will come chasing us. After all, what do they have to lose. We spent trillions to go after oil under the ruse that we are going after them. They chuckled in their caves, waited for us to get exhausted and now they are ready to strike back.

Would you know who was it that invented the "guerrila war."? Surely not AQ. One thing is certain. "Shock and Awe" is the strategy of conceited militaries. It is just a conjecture. It does not work. Guerrila war is the way to go and what what Obama has launched with drone strikes etc. has a much higher chance of success against guerrila tactics than the "shock and awe" strategy of Bush, Rumsfeld and Co.

This is a case which demonstrates that Govt. intervention is necessary to turn things around, that regulations are necessary. I was not aware that GM is so close to filing for an IPO.

GM IPO filing delayed - sources
6:42 pm ET 08/17/2010 - Reuters

NEW YORK/DETROIT, Aug 17 (Reuters) - General Motors Co [GM.UL] is unlikely to file for its initial public offering on Tuesday, three people familiar with the situation said.

The filing had been expected on Tuesday, even as recently as Tuesday morning, a fourth person with knowledge of the preparations said.

It is unclear why the delay in the much-anticipated filing emerged but the decision on when the paperwork for an IPO is filed with U.S. securities regulators now depends entirely on GM and not the underwriting banks, the three sources said.

The initial S-1 filing that GM plans to make with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has been completed, they said. (Reporting by Clare Baldwin and Soyoung Kim in New York and Kevin Krolicki in Detroit; Editing by Bernard Orr)
