Agreed, although I would describe my way as coerce. lol!

Forcing them to read The Richest Man in Babylon helped open their eyes about money and the fact that if things are going to change, you have to do it.

I think a big problem in our society is that many parents don't have the money smarts to teach.

Those that do, although seeming like meanies sometimes, will be greatly rewarded by their kids appreciation later on. And once they "know it" they can't deny it, so hopefully it follows them for life, long after we are gone.
