an observation or a guess, that once you embrace an ipad, you may be pulled into active work because it is too much fun via the ipad

i can see brokers of all descriptions sporting an ipad

apple share may well be under-appreciated

re "red cliff", i of course heard about the movie as the posters were ubiquitous, at bus stops, on buses and video clips on building sized monitors, elevator lobby monitors, in-elevator monitors, and on bus' videos youtube.com

i have not seen the movie

the issue is that for enough kids of one or two chinese parent(s, for only one of two suffice and enables oral history), the classic stories of history

"journey to the west" en.wikipedia.org

"water margin" en.wikipedia.org

"the spring and autumn period - warring states" en.wikipedia.org

"romance of the three kingdoms" en.wikipedia.org

and

sun tzu's this and that en.wikipedia.org

are second nature, learned by osmosis starting at age 4 (in my case), with my mom pointing to each word and reading out loud the many many volumes of book, night after night, with one aim ... to hold a few rounds into the unreal tournament last man standing deathmatch, i suppose.

when i was 4 and six months, i asked my mom to read two chapters per night instead of usual one, and she refused.

the next day i simply started reading on own. we both remember that that day.

so for such grownups to go watch the flick is like ... well, like watch macbeth for the 100th time.

in the case of my daughter, we have the entire comic set of some of the above series, and so she would probably not go for such movies when adult :0)

how is the movie? is it worthwhile to see as in predators, salt, and inception? those movies are more my cup of tea.
