I find the whole thing rather disgusting. Obama did hand the republicans an easy talking point, but there's no way this deserves this much attention. Funny that Obama takes a principled stand over the 911 Mosque, but in almost every other category he's Bush redux (or worse). As for it being on hollowed ground the way I understand it it's more than 10 city blocks away. I don't think that qualifies. It's really a debate about whether we want new Mosques period.
