" you can live in a world where dissenting thought is silenced.. Maybe that day will come soon"

Maybe it came, and went already. It'll be back. Too many Beckerheads in this country for it to go away for good.

During a London concert ten days before the 2003 invasion of Iraq, lead vocalist Maines said, "we don't want this war, this violence, and we're ashamed that the President of the United States is from Texas" (the Dixie Chicks' home state).[1] The statement offended some people, who thought it rude and unpatriotic, and the ensuing controversy cost the group half of their concert audience attendance in the United States and led to accusations of the three women being "un-American", as well as hate mail, a death threat, and the public destruction of their albums in protest.[2]

There is a distinction between dissent and words of hate expressed to incite violence. You think when Osama spoke out against Americans and this US citizen in Yemen is speaking out and inciting folks like Major Nidal to commit violent acts, that is dissent? If it is then why is the US hunting down these folks. They haven't pulled the trigger, did they? Then why are we hunting them down and trying to shoot them at sight. How does Limbaugh differ from these folks.
