BB if you do that the MMs see the buys and know they have a great opportunity to walk it down. Remember they see all limit orders setting out there to be filled. I just talked to a financial fellow I have talked to about this.

If you buy lower than the ask you it is considered a sell. It is going to take a while before people realize that they are their worst enemies in the OTC arena. Why do you think the Professionals Brokers advise not to invest in the OTC market. Personal greed to get in low as possible takes a price down.

Reverse logic is the standard. Where if you buy at the ask the price will move drastically up. If you sell at the midpoint you can effectively raise the bid.

The logic you have is like everyone wanting to outsmart the MMs. Well I have never see anyone beat someone at their own game but that is life. I guess until everyone causes their price to enough they will finally figure out how to buy and sell.
