Ann Coulter’s ‘HomoCon’ Gay Gig Makes Birther Website Mad

(ChattahBox)—Joseph Farah, rabid birther and owner of WorldNetDaily, perhaps THE kookiest conspiratorial website ever, announced he’s dumping right-wing hate talker Ann Coulter from his event “Taking America Back National Conference,” because of her upcoming speaking gig for a Republican gay group. The group GoProud, is billing Coulter as the “right-wing Judy Garland” for its September event called “Homocon.” Although, Coulter’s offensive punditry has not spared the LGBT community, Farah says her appearance at Homocon validates GoProud’s “twisted and dangerous ideas way out of the mainstream.” And Farah should know. He’s an expert on wacky ideas on the far right fringe.

WND said in its post today that Coulter’s gay friendly behavior was just too radical for its right-wing extremist “Taking America Back National Conference.”

“Ultimately, as a matter of principle, it would not make sense for us to have Ann speak to a conference about ‘taking America back’ when she clearly does not recognize that the ideals to be espoused there simply do not include the radical and very ‘unconservative’ agenda represented by GOProud,” said Farah. “The drift of the conservative movement to a brand of materialistic libertarianism is one of the main reasons we planned this conference from the beginning.”

Farah openly asked Coulter: “Do you not understand you are legitimizing a group that is fighting for same-sex marriage and open homosexuality in the military – not to mention the idea that sodomy is just an alternate lifestyle?”

Coulter responded she does not endorse the entire platform of every group she addresses.

“But in any event, giving a speech is not an endorsement of every position held by the people I’m speaking to. I was going to speak for you guys, I think you’re nuts on the birther thing (though I like you otherwise!)”

Hilariously, Farah is permitting Coulter to stay with WND as a contributor, but he says the “Taking America Back National Conference” requires speakers whom are “serious about changing the direction of this country” and taking it back from that usurper illegal alien President Obama.

Who else is speaking at this very serious conference of Farah’s? Assorted homophobic kooks, paranoid conspiracy theorists, quacks and radical extremists, including Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), Alan Keyes, Tom Tancredo, Matt Barber, Victoria Jackson and WND’s Aaron Klein, author of The book, “The Manchurian President: Barack Obama’s Ties to Communists, Socialists and Other Anti-American Extremists.”

GOProud, described on its website as representing “gay conservatives and their allies,” recently angered right-wing Christian groups by co-sponsoring the annual CPAC conference, prompting Liberty Law School to drop out.

Christopher Barron, Chairman of the Board of GOProud, claims Republican gays have more fun than liberal gays. “Homocon is going to be our annual effort to counter the ‘no fun police’ on the left,” he said.

The Homocon poster also features the phrase, “Our gays are more macho than your straights!”
