I didn't actually hear Obama's speech on the Mosque issue. What specifically did he say? -- My opinion of the issue isn't really on either extreme. I think their is a constitutional and natural right to free exercise of religion and a natural right to the use of your own property, so I think they have a right to build the Mosque. In that, I oppose the strongest opponents. OTOH I think its not particularly appropriate to build it there (but not nearly as much as if they where trying to build it on the actual site, not just near by) Generally you could say it hasn't been one of "my" issue, not something I'm worked up about, or spending a lot of time posting about (although I did get in one conversation about it on another thread).
