Property and casualty insurer, Cincinnati Financial Corp. (NasdaqGS: CINF - News) on Monday announced a 0.5 cent increase in quarterly dividend to 40 cents per share. The increased dividend will be paid on October 15, 2010, to shareholders of record as of September 22, 2010.

On the basis of the increase, the stock of Cincinnati Financial has an attractive dividend yield of approximately 6%. Management has raised dividend in each of the past 50 years, with an average growth of 6% annually for the past five years.
