Orhan, I agree with your assessment of the effects on the market if Fast Track fails. It won't bother me any if it does. I'd just as soon this be the pin the bubble has been waiting for. But I'm afraid that Fast Track, like NAFTA, is already bought and paid for, and that all we are seeing is some theatrics with our congress, all of whose members are owned by somebody. Sorry to let my cynicism show. Maybe this time it will be different and they won't vote on it. If so, Monday will be very interesting.

You may be right about the fast-track breakdown. Clinton sure seems to be working hard to get it through. Isn't it encouraging to see a Democratic president working with the Republicans? At least I think so. I have had enough partisan politics--where if you favor sound money you are also supposed to be against gun control, etc.
