true story:

One of my friends told his sister's friend in SF valley over 2 years ago to quit making the payments on her condo that she could no longer afford when the payment adjusted. She quit all payments and saved for over 2 years till the unit finally got foreclosed. When the bank got around to evicting her she again called my friend and he told her to tell them she had no money which she then told the bank. The bank gave her $4k to move out. She has got back her entire down payment on the condo back in free rent, free taxes, no homeowner's insurance, no HOA's...
