Dean is a wimp on this issue; instead of taking the tough stance to stand up for a crucial principle, he wants a touchy-feely negotiation that will make the problem go away...even though the local community boards spent many hours doing just that and voted almost unanimously to go ahead.

Dean is becoming less and less relevant lately.

The mosque has become a circus. Those who are opposing it now such as the conservative show hosts supported the building of the mosque in Nov. and Dec. of last year. They have made it an election issue by throwing the "American values or rights and liberties" out the window.

And the MSM is just standing by instead of presenting to the people a scorecard of what this Congress has done in the past two years. Folks like Eugene Robinson have made such attempts but they are being drowned out now. Let us see folks like Hannity or Beck or Limbaugh take the intellectual plane and present a scorecard for Congress. Are they afraid that they will not have much to show because of the "politics of No"?
