These figures appear strange to me in that if you look at a specific state, they talk about jobs being created along with state unemployment figure increase. what I would be interested to see is the NCH numbers. If the NCH numbers are significantly high, then this country is undergoing a big change in the industrial picture. The jobs in the traditional sectors like, machine shop, textiles etc. are going overseas and are being superseded by state-of-the-art cutting edge sectors such as green tech and the specialized services industry.
