One of the many hats I wear is involvement in the commercial construction industry. Our major clients include AMAT, ORCL and at one time LSI. Early last year LSI shelved plans for up to four new buildings in Fremont, Ca. As a matter of fact one was completely built and sat vacant for some time until AVANT! took it over. That is a very uncommon occurance in my industry. I don't follow LSI very closely to tell whether those problems last year are behind them, but I don't think I would judge them as any sort of trend setter.
