Victor,

I'm no TA expert (neither kind, unfortunately), but I'll take a stab at your questions posted in the clubhouse. For some reason, I had trouble posting a response in the clubhouse (too long?)

The key to the Bollinger Bands is decreasing volatility, which can be seen as the bands "pinch" together. The last time this happened with TPRO between 5.5 - 6, we broke out to 6.5 + (after a brief downtrend). It's true that we could bounce off the upper band and pull back temporarily. Many stocks do just that for months. In the absense of significant news, they just bounce up and down with TAers anticipating pullbacks and surges. Much of it is self-fulfilling. Similar thing happens when you hit a moving average.

However, watch out when you break through. It's a very bullish indicator. We've had some minor breakthroughs in the past 2 weeks, indicating some strong support at these levels. We can expect the same thing when TPRO reaches 7 13/16, the historical high. Initially, there could be a pullback caused by sellers who know there is historical resistance at that price. Again, watch out when we break through 7 13/16 and stay there for a couple of days. Basically, this indicates that investor sentiment is so strong that no one wants to sell even at a historical resistance level. There is more liklehood of this reistance breaking down after it is tested several times (been tested twice so far with TPRO). Once it breaks through 7 13/16, it's anybody's guess where the new near-term resistance level will form. My guess is somewhere around 9 or 10, but it depends on how good the news is at the time (could be 12!).

As far as RSI goes, anything above 50 and moving up is bullish. It could indicate overbought condition over 70, although with a trending stock that doesn't necessarily mean a selloff is imminent.

Sorry I went on for so long. This is a subject that I love. Now, about the other TA.......Ooops, .....sorry dear, coming....

rpm <David, do you have anything to add to a TA discussion?>
