Franklins Samaritans purse org does much good around the world was what I was specifically referring to.

His message or methods can be debated or criticized (like they are by the mainstream press). If you read the OT all of the prophets brought a message to Judah and Israel that was very unpopular with the masses because it was in conflict with the way they were living. No different with Franklin - He is bringing a message that Christians must believe in if they regard the Bible as the inspired word of God. There is only one way to salvation and that is through Jesus. The concept that is in vogue with our generation that there are many religions and many ways to get to heaven is flat out in conflict with the teachings of Bible and Christianity. I am sure he is addressing the below perceptions that were mentioned in the article .

"She noted that "surveys have shown that Americans, a majority of whom are Christian, are increasingly subscribing to a more Hindu-like worldview. Well-regarded surveys like Pew and Harris have found that 65 percent of Americans, 37 percent of whom are white evangelicals, believe that many religions can lead to Eternal Life and 24 percent believe in reincarnation.""

Of course to attack these thoughts as wrong will not be regarded as PC in todays world. You can see the slant of the author that wrote the article you posted. It is obviously to put him in a bad light.

The high earnings that BC brings up in another post is another issue that has some legitimacy.
