Frank, Your point is a good one. I have reviewed portfolios of small cap mutual funds and micro cap funds that I own and you will not find many stocks in this price range even if the companies are small. There are exceptions. One stock I own, NWCI (there is a SI thread) has about a 20% institutional ownership even though it is a $2 stock.
