No not exactly. Two different point, as I've already pointed out.

My statement (which you said was exactly what the analysis said) was that the spending decreased economic growth. The analysis (according to your statement) was that the spending and taxes produced lower growth).

Saying A caused the problem, is a different statement than saying A+B caused the problem. They are not just not exactly alike, they are strongly different.
