Yes, its a symbol of a religion espoused by the 911 terrorists built to tower over the 911 attack site in NYC. Furthermore I hear it will be dedicated on 9/11/11. Many people think its basically meant to be a victory memorial. Whether the imam intends that, I think a lot of people sympathetic to AQ will see it as such.
