"Inode represents the ideal subject of a totalitarian government..." Sure! Had he been born German at the right time, I can see him as a committed, totally believing SS thug. (Whenever I see Hannity, I just can't help but imagine HIM as one.) Or Soviet, as a political officer, pistol out behind the troops, shooting deserters.. I'm sure he's greatly disappointed that OUR government isn't like those. For a few days, there was a line all the wingers were spouting that they thought was so cool.......walking in the sand single file one after the other bla bla bla. That line is so typical of an authoritarian mindset. And yet, they don't get it.......just as they don't get their incipient racism. Like their favorite news channel, they think they are 'fair and balanced'. I would laugh but then they are very serious about their position.
