It all depends on how it is interpreted. liberals (the ACLU) interpret it one way, conservatives another. That is where the disagreement lies and is why you are so eager to defend the ACLU............most of them are libs/dems. The constitution would be interpreted differently if the government would get out of the school business. They have no right to do what they are doing, yet we are saddled with their idea of "learning." Abolish the NEA, and we'd all be better off. What is the matter with you? The ACLU is about protecting the constitution and nothing else!!
