<<He will buy less gold henceforth>>

an observation, that should one have a genuine passion for something, act, or idea, one could really excel at aggregating more of something, do more of act, or really expand on the idea :0)

my advice to highschool graduates and college folks is just that, follow your passion so as to do well.

gold is not just money, mere hobby, or only a political idea; gold is passion.

Congratulations to Jay for his newborn child. Children are the greatest gift life can give us.

I am pleased to report that both of my sons recently graduated, the older from UVA School of Law, the younger from VCU with a degree cum laude in Biology.

The older took the Virginia Bar Exam and they promise results in October "if people don't keep calling us asking whether we have results yet". He just started a job, first paycheck due 9/15/10.

The younger is starting his first real job next week, but is also wondering about whether and when to continue with his advanced education. First paycheck TBD (to be determined).

My wallet will breathe a huge sigh of relief soon, I hope.

As for me, TGIF ("thank goodness it's Friday"). Also a long weekend, we have Monday off, Labor Day. Not going to the beach, hoping to work productively around the house and the yard.
