And one other thing -- I find it particularly disturbing to see Jews, of all people, participating in this type of questioning. What's so new about this behavior. They forgot the treatment that they received from the Nazis and are handing out the same treatment to the Palestenians. So what would stop them in joining the extremists Christians in giving Obama the treatment they/their convert relatives got during those days. We cannot be tied at the hip with Israel if we want to win the war against terrorism.

(Attributed to George Santayana) American history is replete with examples of the worst kind of religious intolerance including torture, oppression, and genocidal brutality ... usually followed by societal regret and systematic changes in law and social mores, with each generation seeming intent on reproving that cycle in one forum or another.
