form of economics has lead to a super wealthy class where too much of the country's wealth is flowing to that class.

I don't have my own form of economics. To the extent I support anything that could be called a form, its the form of economic freedom, which has been the main factor behind the huge increase in wealth in recent centuries. Imposing more government control over the economy

Economic freedom did increase the wealth of the lower classes. However, that came to an end under Reagan. Suddenly, the upper classes were favored over the lower classes.

Correct me if I am wrong but I seem to remember that you do favor the tax cuts for the rich and are against letting the Bush tax cuts lapse. AMIRITE?

1 - Is what has been happening for a long time, so if any broad change in the level of government involvement is responsible for the housing bubble, financial crisis, and recession, it would have to be one of more control.

No. Its been one of tax cuts and favoring corps. over the little guy.

2 - Has the possibility of more equality, but may not even give us that, since it will tend to shift resources to the well connected.

Apparently it has shifted more wealth to the rich.

3 - Shifts those resources to the well connected, from the most efficient, generally reducing both freedom and growth, and making almost everyone worse off in the long run.

And yet, you have always supported the Bush tax cuts. Changing your mind now?

Is that what you want, Tim? Class warfare?

No but its what your pushing, at least the not openly violent type of class warfare.

Tim, its economic disparity that's pushing the potential for class warfare, not me. When a German magazine....one much like Newsweek....picks up on the problem, you know its become very widespread.

The reality is that inspite of what the American press says, the real populist movement in this country is not the tea party. The real one has yet to show its head in its full 3 D glory. When it does, we will be in big trouble.
